A little spice, a little dice, but always nice.

High School Hunk...Zack Morris

Zack Morris was every girl's dream guy (if you were born in the 80's). Who could resist his slicked back Ken Barbie lookalike good looks and charm. He was the all time bad boy with a good heart. What more could a ten-year old girl want? Unfortunately Zacky had to grow up and graduate from Bayside and then Cal U (but who really watched the College years anyway?) Zach aka Mark Paul-Gosselaar is now married with two children and plans to play in a new TNT drama called "Raising the Bar." Let's hope this show really does just that for his career. We want our heartthrob back!

Back and better than ever

It may have taken him one too many stints in jail and rehab, but it looks like Mr. Robert Downey Jr. has finally stabilized himself. I fell in love with him after watching "Chances Are" about a million years ago and my love has only grown after watching him brilliantly play Tony Stark in "Iron Man." Whether you are male or female, this movie kicks ass.

Jenn and John

They've been spotted everywhere together! Will Mayer finally settle with Aniston or is this serial dater just adding another woman to his list?

"Hill"arious

This is some funny stuff. Click here for a great parody of "The Hills." Thanks Maya ;)

Sexy Sarah

I'm sorry...how was Sarah Jessica Parker voted the unsexiest woman? Is Maxim magazine mad? I understand she is no Megan Fox or Angelina Jolie, but considering her age and the fact that she had a baby, I think SJP looks amazing. Yes airbrushing helps, but she has a very cute look and a great body, why all the negative press? SJP could have done what most people in Hollywood do and get a nose job, lip job, boob job, and all the other jobs and she too would look sexier, but instead she embraces what she has and is au natural. Plus there are PLENTY of less sexier women in Hollywood. I really do not understand how Maxim could be so cruel and so blind.

The latest trend

Have you heard? The latest trend swirling through Hollywood is not what you would expect. Move over Starbucks coffee cups, cute little pups, Pinkberry, and Chloe bags...the must have item of late is a growing tummy. Yup, but not from overeating...it's the pregnancy bump. The latest starlet strutting this new trend is Miss Ashlee Simpson. Is it me or is pregnancy not a big deal in Hollywood? Do these couples realize that their lives are about to completely change?

Face to Face Facebook

Sadly in today's world most people are not meeting face to face but communicating through the computer, but fortunately these British boys found a reason to knock on each other's door. Click here for a hilarious clip....

Cutest Couple

The tabloids are always talking about the Cruises, the Beckhams, and the Jolie-Pitts, but my favorite celebrity couple award goes to Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman. They always look so lovey-dovey in every photo without trying to appear like the perfect family. It doesn't hurt that they are both absolutely stunning as well.

Gilles Marini

For those who were disappointed by the movie, there is no way any woman or gay man can deny that Dante's character played by Gilles Marini is hot hot hot. This French actor didn't need any dialogue to catch viewer's attention. Click here to check him out...

Sex and the "Suffering American Women"

Yea yea yea, so the movie forked in a nice chunk of change its opening weekend, but does that mean it's a good movie? Some loved it, others hated it, it's nothing the public isn't used to hearing after a new movie is released. I would categorize myself as a mild fan. I enjoy watching the show as a way to pass time when I am sick in bed or trying to fall asleep at night, but I wouldn't call myself a die hard fan, nor do I take the message the show sends to women seriously. I get it. It's a so called "fantasy" life portrayed on television, but I know their lives are pretty much unrealistic and definitely not satisfying. I plan to see the movie, however, while reading comments on imdb, I was not expecting to read this comment, by a 27-year old male...

"This movie possibly represents all that is wrong with the woman America is producing. It also reflects the pathetic depths to which once proud American men have sank to in order to appease Ms. Princess. This movie celebrates being a high priced whore, what a great message for young women. I thought we were supposed to encourage, "being yourself and having high self esteem" funny really, that women create images for themselves that are the opposite of what they preach."

An "Inconvenient" Opera

Giorgio Battistelli, an Italian composer has plans to turn Al Gore's global warming documentary into an Opera. According to Battistelli an "operatic treatment of Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" will help people see the world's environmental predicament from a fresh point of view." There's no question that an opera does offer a "fresh point of view," however, I think they forgot to take into account that the average Opera goer is probably about 80 years old. Someone might want to tell this guy that he is preaching to the wrong generation. It's the teenagers and spoiled Americans that need to change their ways. He might want to save his money and make a rap song instead.

A little exaggeration I might say

An unnamed news source had this to say about tonight's 2008 MTV Movie Awards....

"If you're not freaking out about the upcoming MTV Movie Awards yet, you might be dead. Described as "the most relevant movie award show in America today," the Movie Awards promise to be packed with hours of unprecedented insanity."

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching the show as much as the next guy, but it's definitely not "the most relevant movie awards." Have these guys ever heard of the Oscars??? Regardless, tune in tonight to watch Mike Myers take the stage as the host of this celebrity filled debacle.

Mayer and Wentz make nice

Pete Wentz and could have been brother in-law, John Mayer (pre Jessica breakup) took time to complement each other on their blogs. Mayer wrote

"You're one of the best eggs in the music industry, hands down. With as much talent as you have, I'd expect you'd have some eccentric ego, but from what I can tell you seem to have none. (That actually makes you more talented, by way of some crazy cosmic arithmetic.) Every time we get the chance to hang I'm inspired by your creativity. Your mind is like a stadium with the dome open... you have ZERO judgment when it comes to things that move you."

Click here to read the rest. It's a shame Jessica and John didn't work out, the foursome could have joined to make some interesting music together.

British Brand makes a splash

British comedian, musician, radio host, and actor Russel Brand makes quite a splash in this summer's
"Forgetting Sarah Marshall." Brand plays Sarah Marshall's new boyfriend after she breaks up with Jason Segel's character Peter Bretter. Some of the biggest laughs come from his hilarious musical stints and one-liners. He is already very popular in England, but is now making his mark on American fans as well.

Gimme more Mad Money July 27th, 9:00 PM on AMC

It's coming back. Last summer's best television show was no other than AMC's "Mad Men." For those of you who missed it, which is probably most of you, I highly recommend you catch yourself up before season 2 airs on July 27th. The show is intelligent, interesting, and unlike anything you've seen on television in the past few decades. For more information, click here.

Mila Makeover

I am not sure exactly what it is, but Mila is looking quite different these days. What do you think?

Men? No thanks

It's no wonder that serial dater Lindsay Lohan is now dating a female. She has been previously linked to a string of men such as Aaron Carter, Harry Morton, Jeremy Piven, Jared Leto, Ryan Adams, Shaun White, Brett Ratner, Jude Law, and Calum Best to name a few. Apparently, men are not able to hold her attention for too long. Hope this works out for her.

Who is Devendra Banhart???

Who doesn't love Natalie Portman? She is smart, talented, altruistic, not to mention beautiful as well. So when Natalie Portman is dating someone, he must be quite a guy. Born in Texas, but raised in Venezuela, this 28 year old folk-rock singer, songwriter and musician has some pretty interesting music. I've only heard a few of his tracks, but so far so good. Click here to listen to some tracks on his myspace page. My favorite is Queen Bee...what's yours?

Winehouse Wonder

There is nothing like good music to lift one's spirits. Whenever I feel blue or just in the mood for some fun tunes, I can always count on Amy Winehouse. Click here to listen to this musical talent.

Editing and Stupidity

As strange as this might sound, one of my favorite ways to de-stress is to watch an episode of MTV's famous hit show "The Hills." For those who have never seen it, the show follows the life of protagonist "LC" (Lauren Conrad) and her friends (depending on the day) Whitney, Audrina, and Heidi as they gallivant around Los Angeles. The reason I love this show, is to allows me to remove my mind from the constant tragedies and horrific images on the news and watch something light and superficial. The show rarely, if ever, discusses any serious topics and unfortunately portrays the girls as complete airheads. I was dumbfounded by the extent of how ridiculous the show can get and according to many sources, most of the shots are fake. I could never understand why the girls never have normal conversations that sound natural and flowing and until I watched the deleted scenes, I thought they didn't know how to talk normally. The DVD features several deleted scenes where the viewer can actually see that they are not as stupid as they are portrayed on the show. It seems that the MTV editing crew cuts the conversations in such a way to add so much unnecessary drama and makes the girls look pathetic. If anyone wants a glimpse into a more "realistic" version of their lives...watch the deleted scenes.

Welcome to Celebrity Luv

Hello readers!

I have to admit that I am guilty of being completely fascinated by celebrities and famous people. This does not imply that I wish to be like them nor do I believe that they are superior to any other human being on this planet. I am just very interested in people and the human condition and because celebrities are constantly featured EVERYWHERE in the media world, they are more accessible to the rest of us. In my experience, most people take interest in the lives of others and are either talking about, or comparing and judging others. Unfortunately for celebrities, with the proliferation of the paparazzi, they are consistently in the spotlight and more susceptible to the.opinions of others. I am starting this site to create a forum for sharing a different perspective on celebrities and perhaps a more positive one. I am tired of reading the same negative and hurtful stories about celebrities and I hope to offer readers another way to look at the stories that magazines put out there. Perhaps if people start giving celebrities the benefit of the doubt, they might do the same with the people in their own lives. Please feel free to add your comments, I am always open to more opinions! Enjoy
